Artwork acquired by Bundoora Homestead Art Centre

Bundoora Homestead Art Centre has acquired a piece of my work from the two-person exhibition Keepsake that I presented with Melbourne-based painter Kirrily Hammond in August 2017.

Keepsake comprised of a unique combination of painting and jewellery practices, and featured intimate oil paintings on copper by Kirrily Hammond and I presented contemporary jewellery and photography. The exhibition was supported by Bundoora Homestead, Gallerysmith, and Pieces of Eight gallery and was presented as part of the contemporary jewellery biennial Radiant Pavilion.

The neckpiece acquired, Moment #8: Backyard view (4. 4 Jan 2017), was a central piece in the 2017 collection I presented and is from the current project I am working on titled Momentarily Here, which is a 2017 yearlong time-based digital, photography & art jewellery project.

Thanks to the City of Darebin and Bundoora Homestead team for supporting me and acquiring a piece of my work for their collection.

Moment #8: Backyard view (4. 4 JAN 17), From the series 'Momentarily Here', 2017, sterling silver, aluminium, glass; oxidised, 40 x 67 x 9mm. Collection of Bundoora Homestead Art Centre, Melbourne.
