Keepsake Exhibition - It's a wrap

Kirrily Hammond and I presented two new collections of work for Keepsake at Bundoora Homestead Arts Centre in August to October 2017. By all accounts, the show was very well received with great attendance at the gallery and positive feedback--this may have had something to do with the fact that there were eight other shows on at the Homestead at the time of our show. However, this did mean the audiences that saw our show was diverse and went beyond the typical contemporary jewellery and painting 'art' crowd.

My collection of work was taken from my current time-based investigation Momentarily Here--a new series of photographs and contemporary jewellery that sat alongside intimate paintings created by Kirrily Hammond. The exhibition was featured as part of the Radiant Pavilion biennial in Melbourne. Kirrily and I self-published an exhibition catalogue that was beautifully designed by the talented Liz Cox at monoprint.com.au that featured an essay by Dr. Jessica Neath.
